There are two size for ops computer, one is 195*180*42/33/30MM, which have three thickness to choose; another size is 180*119*30MM, which is international size for mini ops, use in a certain brand interactive whiteboard.

What Are OPS computer Used For?

An ops computer is used as a center processor in an Interactive whitboard. Intel® developed the Open Pluggable Specification (OPS) to simplify the device installation, usage, maintenance and upgrade of digital signage infrastructure. This open standard comprises electrical, mechanical and thermal specifications for media player boards and display boards connected together via a 80-pin JAE connector that supports commonly used interfaces such as DisplayPort* and USB, among others. The overall objective is to enable digital signage manufacturers to deploy interchangeable systems faster and in higher volumes, while lowering the costs for deployment and implementation. This OPS Module can be easily integrated into a broad range of digital solutions. The modular chassis options provide flexibility in usage, are qualified for 24/7 operation, and provide value now and for future generations to come.

OPS Slot computer inner parts in details

OPS defines standards for a pluggable computing module used in media players and a docking board in display panels, as well as the connector and signals that link them. The docking board in terfaces to the control board, which drives the display panel. The three board implementation comprises the following boards:

  • Pluggable Module: A computing board with an 80-pin JAE connector in the media player
  • Docking Board: An interface board that passes relevant signals from the pluggable board to the control board
  • Control Board: The board that drives the digital signal display

An ops motherboard consist of serveral parts: Ports, BGA, CPU, Memory, Storage, WiFi module, OPS sockets, Bios Battery and other components. 

  • CPU: Different generation processor is different socket and motherboard for it.
  • Memory: There are DDR3/ DDR4 memory available for different motherboard.
  • Storage: SSD/ HDD hard disk available, for higher end, MB support M.2 NVMe SSD as well.
  • WiFi: Support 2.4G/ 5G/ Bluetooth WiFi Module.
  • I/O ports: There are 6*USB port(more than 2*USB3.0), HD-MI port, VGA/DP port, Lan port, Type-C, Audio & Mic jack and power & recover button.

Before buying ops computer, you should know below three things clear and tell us the details.

Which processor you need?

We have 2-13th Genration Intel® chipset motherboard, so processor support from 2-13th Generation Intel® Core™ I3/I5/I7, we also support Intel® Celeron®/ Intel® Pentium® processor as long as the LGA socket are same. And also onboard processor for 2-4th Gen, 8th Gen, 10-13th Gen Intel® Core™ I3/I5/I7.

What capacity of the memory you need?

Memory is DDR3 for lower end, and DDR4 for higher end. For DDR3, max support 16GB for H81 OPS motherboard as it has dual memory channels; for DDR4, max support 128GB for H510 OPS motherboard as which has dual memory channels and one DDR4 RAM can be Max 64GB.

What capacity of the storage you need?

Our standard size ops slot computers support dual channels for storage: mSATA/ M.2 SSD or SATA 2.5/3.5 inch HDD. Normally 128/256/512GB/1TB SSD, 500GB/1/2/4TB HDD. And for Mini size OPS slot computer there is only mSata or M.2 SSD as space limited. For M.2, there is SATA/ NVMe protocol optional. Factory defaulted is M.2 SATA protocol. So if you need M.2 NVMe protocol SSD, need tell our sales before order confirmed.

The materials for the OPS computer motheboard are brand new, which makes sure the quality is more stable.  Infrastructure that is designed beyond a products lifecycle means that OPS compliant devices can continue to be used, even as the display or projector is upgraded. Processor socket are from Foxcoon and chipset from Intel. The audio chipset is ALC662VD, RTL8111F 10/100/1000M RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet.

Body shell is Alunimun alloy, which is durable and strong,and the processor fan is copper fan with better dispansion effect.
